About the College

Šiauliai College was established in 2002. Šiauliai State College is the leading institution in the region of Northern Lithuania, also competitive and recognized higher education institution in Lithuania and Europe. At present, College has over 2100 students studying at Business and Technology and Health Care faculties, and there are over 250 staff members (170 qualified teachers and over 100 staff members supporting studies).

College trains highly qualified students in biomedical, social and technological science study areas, who acquire Professional bachelor degree. Also College graduates are much-sought-after in country and region‘s labor market – even around 80% of them successfully enter employment.

College students enhance their knowledge and improve their skills in applied scientific activity by preparing final works / projects which are put into practice.

Studies at College are oriented into practical activity.  All students’ practices take on average 20 weeks and they are performed in various business and industrial companies, educational and cultural or treatment facilities.

College is also implementing the retraining for specialists, organizing courses, seminars which are necessary for company and institution’s staff members for qualification improvements.

College is integrated into social and economic area of Šiauliai region by relations of social partnership. The Institution implements active cooperation with over 200 regional companies, institutions and organizations.
